VG Engineering provides silencer designs for ambient air and gases at elevated temperatures, configured as rectangular, concentric or cylindrical acoustic baffles and bars, with or without casing shells for new or retrofit projects.

Silencers are designed and manufactured using construction details and materials to suit the customer specific environmental service and aero-acoustical requirements to minimize pressure drop, and maintenance.

Dependent on the service application; Light and heavy duty silencers are available, constructed from mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum or special alloys.

Acoustical material options include glass fiber, mineral wool, ceramics and basalt encapsulated as required in a range of materials including Mylar, Tedlar® and glass fiber cloth suited to the operating conditions.

Internal supports and frame design insure structural integrity and acoustical performance are maintained throughout the service life.

Where required various types of rain hoods can also be provided.
