Compressor Vent Exhaust Silencer Acoustic Noise Control

VG Engineering provides custom designed silencers for centrifugal and axial compressors together with their associated pipe systems to reduce compressor system sound levels and provide a safe working environment.

The primarily compressor sound source is generated by the “blade pass” frequencies and low frequency noise propagation in the flow path and pipe-work structure. This requires attenuation of mid-range blade pass frequency as well as low frequency flow and structure induced noise that can propagate through the system.

VG Engineering Compressor exhaust silencing systems provide a total solution based on the customer need for reduced noise with optimal performance resulting in minimal pressure drop and effect on the system efficiency.
